1. About these terms

These terms apply when you visit Lathre's website or place an order with us. By using the site or ordering, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or place an order.

Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy form part of these terms. Any offer, discount code or programme we run may also have its own terms, which apply alongside these.

2. Our bars

• Lathre bars are handmade in small batches using the cold-process method. Small variations in colour, scent, texture and weight between bars and batches are natural and are not defects.
• Our bars are for personal, external use only, and are sold for individual or household use, not for resale.
• We do not make medical or therapeutic claims about our bars. The full ingredient list is on each product page. If you have a known skin condition or allergy, please check it before use or patch-test on a small area first, and stop using a bar if it irritates your skin.
• We photograph our bars to represent them as accurately as we can, but colours may look slightly different depending on your screen.

3. Orders and payment

• You place orders through our online store. After you order, you'll receive a confirmation email, which acknowledges that we've received your order. Your order is accepted when we dispatch it and send you a shipping confirmation.
• Because we make our bars in small batches, stock is limited. If something turns out to be unavailable after you've ordered, we'll let you know and offer a full refund, or an alternative if you'd prefer.
• We accept DuitNow QR and online bank transfer, as shown at checkout. Please send us your payment slip within 48 hours of placing your order, as explained in your order confirmation email. We'll prepare your order once your payment is confirmed.
• If we haven't received your payment slip within 48 hours, your order will be cancelled and the items released back into stock. If you've paid but missed the deadline, contact us and we'll sort it out.
• We may cancel or refuse an order if we suspect fraud, if there is a pricing or listing error, or if stock is unavailable. Any payment made will be refunded in full. To cancel an order yourself, see our Refund Policy.

4. Prices, bundles and discounts

• Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include any applicable taxes. Shipping is shown at checkout before you pay.
• We take care to keep prices and product information accurate, but errors can happen. If we find one after you've ordered, we'll contact you before going ahead, and you can choose to cancel for a full refund.
• Bundle prices apply automatically at checkout when your cart contains the bars in that bundle. The bars included and the bundle price are shown on the product page. Bundle pricing is not a discount code.
• Discount codes, coupons and other offers: unless we say otherwise, one code can be used per order. Each code has its own conditions (such as eligible items, expiry date or minimum spend), shown when you use it. Codes have no cash value and can't be applied to an order that's already been placed. We may change or withdraw an offer at any time; this won't affect orders already placed. We may cancel a discount we reasonably believe has been misused. A code or coupon earned from an order may be withdrawn if that order is cancelled or refunded.
• If an order placed with a discount is refunded, the refund is the amount you actually paid for the item.
• Promotions, discount codes, coupons, and reward or referral programmes may have their own terms, shown with the offer or on its own page. Those terms apply alongside these terms.

5. Delivery, returns and refunds

Delivery times, shipping rates, and what happens if a parcel is late or lost are in our Shipping Policy. Returns, damaged or incorrect items, refunds and cancellations are in our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property

Everything on our site and social media, including our name, logo, product photography, packaging design and written copy, belongs to Lathre and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Please don't copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.

7. Acceptable use

When using our site, please don't use it for any unlawful purpose, try to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with how the site normally works.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have as a consumer under Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Third-party links

Our site and our Instagram page may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date above shows when. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
